Podcastic: The UX insight

An UX designer is concerned with the entire process of acquiring and integrating a product, including aspects of branding, design, usability and function.

At the newest edition of the brilliant Digital Lab.in Conference, we managed to snatch yet another prominent tech speaker to speak about his career path and of course the latest industry trends.

The third episode of Podcastic features Kene Udeze, UX designer at Booking.com who spoke about his early days in Lagos and all the work that his Usable team did for the Nigerian community. A few years ago, he moved to the Netherlands to join the ranks of the largest travel metasearch engine for accommodation reservations.

Kene is listed as a part of Google Developers list for product design so we briefly discussed the role and what does being on that list actually mean. He also announced an upcoming show that’s supported by Google where he plans to interview

During this 45-minute chat, we talked about various topics including a regular UX designer day, hackathon projects, the importance of empathy in the IT industry. Ultimately, we even managed to touch upon his public speaking career and his approach to learning to new stuff – enjoy!
